Sullivan Solution of the Month

Words are the biggest hidden expense in any business communication. Whether it's high profile advertising or just a quick follow-up email, never use more than you absolutely need.

  • People don't read (more than they have to).
  • Poor words are filtered or ignored.
  • Important stuff gets buried too easily.
  • Read more about clear business communication (if you want to).
  • Find more resources.

What the client says:

What most churches want is a unique and creative way they can bring their identity to life throughout the entire church.  We were looking for a way that we could make our identity vivid and clear to the congregation at large.

We will use the logos to bring the vision to life in a meaningful way.  We are introducing a three-year campaign called "Dream the Dream".  We have laid out our vision, values and mission -- this is what we believe and why we believe it -- and addressed each area of the logos.  The circle represents the never ending search for truth, the cross acts as our guide and plumb line, the name represent a starting point where can one find support, resources and inspiration as you seek truth - North Euclid Church of God.

Our three year plan encourages, instructs and empowers individuals to focus on their truth-seeking journey.  Each event, program or ministry fits into this framework and the logos are a simple, yet constant reminder of what we are trying to accomplish together.

Use PNG files to insert into Microsoft Office® documents including Word® and PowerPoint®.

Use JPG files for web sites and miscellaneous use. These files will act like photograph files and will work well when the output is composite like color laser prints or ink jet printing. These will be the most versatile files for non-Postscript® use.
For offset printing, silk screening or other applications that require the colors to be separated, use these vectored EPS images that will open or place into Illustrator, Photoshop, QuarkXpress, InDesign, etc. The fonts have all been outlined and all of the files are scalable so these are the files to use for large prints, too. In most cases, the spot color files will work regardless of the colors you choose to use. For example, even though the file specifies Pantone® 072 blue, your printer could substitute any color of ink for the 072 film and plate. Spot color files should also translate reasonably well for use in process printing.
